In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of top business finance and solutions applications in Australia exhibited diverse trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Xero Me by Xero Ltd saw a gradual decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 11.4K in early July and ending at 7.6K by the end of September. Despite this, the app maintained a steady increase in weekly active users, climbing from 240.7K to 283.5K over the quarter.

My Maxxia from Maxxia Pty Ltd experienced a notable spike in weekly downloads in early August, peaking at 28.1K, before settling back to 2.5K by the end of the quarter.

The Square Point of Sale (POS) app by Block, Inc. showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 5.6K and rising to 6.2K by the end of September. However, weekly active users saw a slight decline from 140.2K to 108.8K throughout the period.

Mileage Tracker by Driversnote generated consistent weekly revenue, averaging around $13K, with a peak of $15.9K in early September. Downloads decreased over the quarter, from 8.4K in early July to 4.3K by the end of September. Weekly active users exhibited a slight downward trend, decreasing from 15.4K to 13.7K.

The Xero Accounting for business app also showed a positive revenue trend, reaching $34.3K by the end of September. Downloads were consistent, hovering around 4.7K, while weekly active users increased slightly from 71.2K to 78.1K.
